Edible Bird's Nest

Easter is around the corner! Actually, it's this Sunday. I love holidays. Now that I'm a mommy, I enjoy it more. Only because it gives me reasons to cook more, bake more, eat more, and be more silly! And the big plus, my little bees love it! And the best response I get from them, "you're the best mommy in the world!" Who doesn't like hearing that?! Anyway, here's a special treat that I make every Easter. It is fairly simple and it takes about 10 minutes to do. I call it:

"Edible Bird's Nest"

What you'll need:
  • Chow Mein Noodles
  • Chocolate
  • Jelly Beans (I used  Sixlets candy since I already had them.)
  • Wax paper
Directions:
  1. Melt chocolate and mix in chow mein noodles.
  1. When it's all mixed, scoop out with a teaspoon onto the wax paper.
  1. Drop your little eggs. Refrigerate for 10 mins.
  1. EAT!
My bees loved them! Such a simple little treat for Easter!
